We are seeking a hands-on Warehouse Technician to support receiving, inventory control, material organization, shipping, and internal fulfillment across warehouse and engineering lab environments. This role will ensure engineers have timely access to the parts, tools, equipment, and supplies needed to support hardware development, testing, and builds. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced technical environment. This role may require transporting materials between nearby facilities.
Scope:
Receiving and Material Handling:
• Pick up incoming packages and deliveries from loading docks and transport them to designated receiving areas.
• Receive, inspect, and log incoming components, assemblies, tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Record item details in internal systems and check materials into inventory tracking systems.
• Verify quantities, part numbers, and documentation against purchase orders and packing lists.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Logistics, and Engineering teams to resolve discrepancies or missing information.
• Label and route materials to laboratories, storage locations, or build areas.
• Package items and prepare materials for outbound shipment.
• Coordinate package and material movement between facilities.
Inventory and Organization:
• Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP systems, spreadsheets, and inventory tracking tools.
• Maintain real-time visibility into material status, location, and availability.
• Organize storage areas to support efficient retrieval and clear part identification.
• Conduct cycle counts and support inventory reconciliation and audit activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve labeling, storage systems, and material flow efficiency.
Warehouse Operations:
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized warehouse and laboratory spaces.
• Operate basic material-handling equipment, including pallet jacks and carts.
• Follow safety and handling requirements for sensitive, fragile, ESD-sensitive, and high-value components.
• Support the development and maintenance of warehouse procedures and material-handling processes.
Engineering and Lab Support:
• Serve as a point of contact for engineers requesting parts, tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Pick, stage, and distribute inventory for engineering builds, testing activities, and daily operations.
• Support efficient material movement to help engineering teams remain productive and on schedule.
