USA_Packaging Operator - Level 1

Packaging Operator – 3rd shift needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh Scientific’s client in St. Louis, MO.
 
This position is for a pharmaceutical company, and they are looking for candidates with a BS degree with 2-5 years of experience.
 
Schedule: Monday- Thursday – 8 pm to 6:30 am.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Operate the packaging lines in the packaging department on a daily basis.
• Perform routine quality checks to ensure that the products are in accordance with the specification.
• Perform routine safety checks to ensure that the equipment is in a safe condition for operation.
• Ensure processes quality and compliance in accordance with established procedures and standards of the Quality System.
• Comply with and support the Environmental, Health and Safety policies and procedures.
• Achieve Performance target for Packaging Lines.
• Participate in RCA for deviations.
• Participate in RCA for problems/breakdowns that occur on equipment.
• Perform and assist with preventative maintenance and autonomous maintenance on packaging production lines.
• Perform and assist with packaging production lines change overs to meet department needs.
• Perform and assist with 5S and cleaning activities to always meet good manufacturing practices.
• SAP functions-Batch reconciliation, Cycle Count, Material Movements, Confirmation, and Inventory control.

 
Qualifications

• Minimum Level of Education Required - High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 1-5 years of experience in a production environment
• Technical degree or certification preferred
• SAP experience preferred
