Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited program (or equivalent with FE exam completion and relevant experience)
- Minimum of 3 years of transmission engineering experience, consulting preferred
- Strong knowledge of civil/structural engineering techniques and procedures
- Proficiency in PLS-CADD modeling, line routing, structure analysis, and loading assessments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work methodically and detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Power Line system-based programs (PLS, PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE)
- Knowledge of wire blowout, swing angle, damper recommendations, and clearance reports
- Prior leadership experience or project technical lead roles
- Engineers in Training (EIT) Certification
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university, with 3+ years of relevant transmission experience
- Master's Degree in Civil Engineering with at least 2 years of transmission project experience
- Consulting experience in power transmission is highly valued
- Willingness to travel approximately 10% for project site visits across the Southeast
- Ability to work in various locations including Atlanta, Chattanooga, and Charlotte
- Certification as an Engineer in Training (EIT) is a plus
