Title: Technical Infrastructure Engineer
Compensation: $80-125/hr (DoE)
Type: 6 - 9 Month Contract
Industry: Entertainment Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and definition of system-wide infrastructure architecture across both site-wide and individual venue environments, including network segmentation, addressing schemes, and overall system structure
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to gather infrastructure and network requirements, review technical inputs, and translate them into cohesive, scalable design solutions
- Serve as a central point of coordination across multiple disciplines, ensuring alignment of infrastructure design, requirements, and implementation strategies
- Develop comprehensive technical documentation including system architecture overviews, detailed network designs, endpoint and device inventories, connectivity and cabling plans, equipment lists, and physical and logical network diagrams
- Define and document physical infrastructure requirements such as cabling, equipment placement, rack layouts, and system interconnects, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all deliverables
- Plan and validate infrastructure scope in coordination with stakeholders to ensure clear ownership boundaries and eliminate duplication of effort across teams
- Design and integrate shared infrastructure services including virtualized compute and storage environments, network monitoring and logging systems, time synchronization services, cybersecurity controls, and video or analytics platforms
- Develop wireless network solutions where required to support operational and system needs across various environments
- Contribute to the development of reusable infrastructure standards, best practices, and scalable architecture models that can be applied to future projects
- Proven experience in infrastructure or network architecture for large-scale environments
- Strong understanding of enterprise networking concepts (routing, switching, segmentation, IP design)
- Experience with virtualization platforms and shared infrastructure services
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and network segmentation strategies
- Ability to produce clear, detailed technical documentation and diagrams
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
- Experience designing infrastructure for complex, multi-system environments (e.g., campuses, venues, industrial or entertainment systems)
- Knowledge of wireless network design and deployment
- Experience working in early-stage design or greenfield projects
