Job Title: Staff Systems Engineer (3–6 Month Contract | Possible Conversion)
Location: Onsite at SRS (initially 5 days/week, potential hybrid after evaluation)
Contract Length: 3–6 months with possible conversion (no guarantee)
Work Authorization: No C2C. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
About the Role We are seeking a hands-on Staff Systems Engineer to support and optimize enterprise network, cloud, and security infrastructure. This is a highly technical role—almost at an architect level but still very execution-driven. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Aruba (Silver Peak Orchestrator), Zscaler, Azure Networking, and Infrastructure as Code. Palo Alto firewall experience is a strong plus but not required.
This position is perfect for an engineer who enjoys rolling up their sleeves to design, implement, and troubleshoot complex enterprise infrastructure while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating across teams.

Must have Ariba, Zscaler, Azure IaC, and Palo Alto is a plus

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support enterprise infrastructure including network, cloud, and security systems.
• Lead the setup of physical and virtual infrastructure to meet evolving business needs.
• Collaborate with product teams to design, optimize, and secure technology solutions.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Aruba SD-WAN, switching, and wireless infrastructure using Aruba Central and Orchestrator.
• Support and optimize Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA) for secure cloud and application access.
• Implement and maintain Azure VNets, NSGs, VPN Gateways, and ExpressRoute; manage resources with Terraform and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• (If applicable) Manage Palo Alto firewall security policies, VPN, NAT, and Zero Trust strategies.
• Create tools, scripts, and automation that improve reliability and enable self-service.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to documentation, standards, and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of relevant Systems/Infrastructure/Network/Security Engineering experience.
• Strong expertise with Aruba (Silver Peak Orchestrator), Zscaler, and Azure Networking/Infrastructure as Code.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Familiarity with Palo Alto firewalls(highly preferred, not required).
• Deep troubleshooting and performance tuning experience across cloud, network, and security platforms.
• Ability to work as part of a modern, cross-functional engineering team.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to engage in both design and hands-on delivery.

Estimated Min Rate: $65.00
Estimated Max Rate: $85.00
