Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited program; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of mechanical engineering experience, preferably in consulting.
- Proficiency in piping systems design, equipment specification, and technical calculations such as pipe stress, pressure relief, and equipment sizing.
- Strong understanding of applicable codes and standards like ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, API 520/521, and 49 CFR Part 192.
- Experience with mechanical design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and hydraulic or HVAC analysis tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work analytically and methodically in a team environment.
- Experience with vendor submittal review and technical bid evaluation.
- Knowledge of process improvement, standard development, and quality control.
- Familiarity with project proposal, scope of work, and cost estimation.
- EIT Certification or similar credentials.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program with at least 3 years of relevant experience, or
- Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 2 years of experience.
- Experience in natural gas facilities, pipeline-related projects, or consulting is highly advantageous.
- Willingness to travel up to 15% for site visits and project coordination.
- Ability to support construction activities, including RFIs, field visits, and as-built documentation.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and compliance with all applicable standards and regulations.
