Yoh has an exciting opportunity for a  Staff Manufacturing Engineer out of Dallas, TX. This position involves leading key manufacturing initiatives across various programs, with a focus on improving efficiency, reducing costs, and expanding production capabilities. Responsibilities include developing and implementing infrastructure for a new production line, selecting and deploying equipment, integrating hardware and software tools, and establishing scalable and reliable manufacturing systems. The role requires close collaboration across engineering, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure smooth adoption of new technologies. Title:  Staff Manufacturing Engineer
Salary: 120,000-185,000 Annually
Location:  Dallas, TX
Type:  Full time, direct hire; 100% onsite
 
Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of advanced manufacturing systems across diverse projects.
  • Drive efficient scale-up of production, balancing speed, quality, and cost.
  • Oversee the launch of new manufacturing capabilities for next-generation products.
  • Plan and integrate essential infrastructure, including equipment, tooling, and automation technologies.
  • Collaborate with external partners to source and deploy critical production assets.
  • Mentor engineers and production staff to build technical depth and organizational strength.
  • Lead cross-functional efforts to standardize processes and enhance manufacturing performance at scale.

Requirements:
  • Degree in engineering or equivalent hands-on experience in a technical manufacturing field.
  • 7+ years of experience driving manufacturing initiatives in fast-paced, high-growth settings.
  • Proven track record of scaling production processes in dynamic, evolving environments.
  • Deep knowledge of core manufacturing methods such as machining, assembly, composites, or electronics integration.
  • Skilled in applying process improvement frameworks like Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
  • Comfortable operating under pressure, with the flexibility to adapt quickly to shifting priorities.
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with industry quality standards and compliance frameworks.
  • Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) tools for engineering and manufacturing applications.
  • Exposure to modern manufacturing technologies, including automation and additive processes.
  • Experience with production planning systems and leveraging data for operational decisions.
  • Practical understanding of equipment operation and the design of tooling for manufacturing.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle competing priorities and deadlines.
