Department:  Manufacturing, Supplier Relationship Management
Cambridge, MA:  Onsite Monday – Thursday (Friday is remote)
6 month contract with possible extension
Pay Rate:  $37 - $42.00 HR (depending on experience)

****Candidates must have at least 2 years experience with SAP, Ariba, Viva, Guided Buying;
***Huge plus and key to this role:  Supply chain, biology / chemistry background

This role supports drug substance & drug product teams, supplier relations and stakeholders (technical, procurement, legal, finance)

Other experience needed:

• Understanding of supply chain, life sciences, or business/procurement, basics of GMP and Quality is desirable.
• Ability to complete assignments in an accurate, timely, and clearly documented manner with minimal oversight.
• Experience working within inventory management systems such as SAP and systems such as Smartsheets and Power BI is desired
• Strong project management skills
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal), including experience presenting in front of multidisciplinary stakeholders.
• Support external manufacturing and development of cross-functional teams and key stakeholders.

Summary of responsibilities:  Lead day-to-day transactional activities to support external manufacturing operations (SAP, shipping/logistics, Ariba, onboarding of new materials/suppliers)

• Documentation and logistics supporting manufacturing readiness at external CMOs.
• Support inventory management
• Documentation of meeting minutes and action items during internal alignment team meetings.
• Tracking metrics from external supplier/CMO manufacturing activities for Specialty RM, API, and DP
• Support supplier selection processes for early and late phase programs

Other Responsibilities:

• Support external manufacturing and development cross functional teams and key stakeholders for pharmaceutical products through clinical development, product validation and commercialization.
• Lead day-to-day transactional activities to support external manufacturing operations, including ownership of documentation and logistics supporting manufacturing readiness at external CMOs.
• Support key internal operations including inventory management through SAP and utilization of procure-to-pay systems such as Ariba
• Drive knowledge management activities including documentation of meeting minutes and action items during internal alignment team meetings and tracking metrics from external manufacturing (Specialty RM, API, DP) activities
   

EDUCATION:  Bachelor’s degree in related field
