Sr. Software Engineer

Yoh has an exciting opportunity as a Senior Software Engineer! In this role you will be  developing full-stack applications with C#/Blazor or Python and leading DevOps automation initiatives. You'll enhance CI/CD workflows using tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub, and SonarQube, while applying secure coding and infrastructure-as-code practices to support scalable internal platforms and drive organizational growth. 

Title:  Senior Software Engineer
Salary:75-80/hr DOE ;conversion salary between $155k-160k annually 
Location:  San Diego, CA, Dallas, TX, Washington, D.C
Type:  6 month Contract to Hire;  hybrid- 3 days a week onsite 
 
Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain internal tools and web applications using C#/Blazor or Python to improve engineering and business operations.
• Automate infrastructure and refine deployment pipelines with platforms like Azure DevOps, GitHub, and related tools.
• Work closely with various teams to enhance software delivery, boost code reliability, and increase system transparency.
• Deliver secure, scalable solutions that support developer workflows and meet enterprise standards.
• Stay current with modern development and DevOps trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of software engineering experience or equivalent practical background, ideally supported by a technical degree.
• Proficient in building and supporting internal web apps using C#/Blazor and/or Python.
• Skilled in DevOps workflows, including CI/CD setup (preferably with Azure DevOps), Git-based version control, and artifact handling.
• Experienced with automation, infrastructure-as-code, and code quality tools like SonarQube.
• Strong grasp of secure coding, system integration, and designing for enterprise environments.
• Effective communicator and team player with a history of working across disciplines.
• Known for delivering reliable, maintainable solutions in dynamic settings.
• Takes initiative, values continuous improvement, and contributes positively to team culture.

Preferred experience:

• Understanding of secure development standards and regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIST SSDF).
• Experience applying DevSecOps principles in security-sensitive environments.
• Proficient with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Bicep.
• Familiar with secure coding techniques, code analysis methods, and verifying software integrity.
