Sr. Software Developer – WMS

Sr. Software Developer - WMS needed for a direct opportunity with Yoh Scientific’s client in Las Colinas, TX.
 
This position is for a process engineering and technology company, and they are looking for candidates who are certified in Blue Yonder WMS or ERP platform skills.
 
Schedule: Hybrid – 4 days in office.
 
Key Responsibilities
The client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sr Software Developer with expertise in ERP systems and a strong foundation in software development to support and optimize our enterprise applications landscape. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in software development, a deep understanding of Supply Chain Management processes, and 2+ years of hands-on experience with Blue Yonder (BY/JDA) Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

• Support, maintain, and enhance Warehouse Management System (Inbound, Outbound, Warehouse Operations and Inventory Management).
• Configure and troubleshoot Blue Yonder WMS, including workflows, integrations, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop, test, and deploy custom enhancements and interfaces using modern development tools and APIs.
• Integrate WMS with ERP and other third-party systems to ensure seamless end-to-end data flow.
• Create and maintain system documentation, technical specifications, and SOPs.
• Lead or participate in WMS enhancements, implementation, and upgrade projects.
• Monitor system performance and proactively resolve technical issues.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support and training to users across IT and Supply Chain functions.
• Work with Blue Yonder to install new enhancement/project rollouts and follow up on patch updates for any application issues.

 
Qualifications

• Experienced in working with middleware or integration tools such as Dell Boomi or MuleSoft.
• Certified in Blue Yonder WMS or ERP platform skills.
• Experienced in integrating WMS with a Parcel shipping system such as ProShip or Nshift.
• Experienced in integrating WMS with Conveyor systems, RF devices, printers and workstations.
• Experienced in BY WMS Version 2018 or higher.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in hands-on software development (e.g., Java, .NET, Python, SQL).
• Strong understanding of Supply Chain processes in manufacturing, warehousing, or distribution environments.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Blue Yonder (BY/JDA) WMS including -Blue Yonder WMS MOCA commands, Configurations, Page Builder or Jasper Reports, Java, JDA integrator, and Creation of rollout scripts.
• Experience of working with ERP platforms based on IBM iSeries, SAP, Oracle, Infor, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Experienced in working in an Agile ecosystem using DevOps methodologies.
• Familiarity with EDI, APIs, and system integrations.
• Excellent Data analysis skills using SQL, Excel, etc.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
