Salesforce Commerce – Senior Developer & Technical Lead

We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Commerce Developer and Technical Lead with extensive hands-on experience in Salesforce B2B Commerce (CloudCraze or Lightning). This role will be instrumental in delivering high-impact digital commerce solutions, leading development efforts, mentoring junior team members, and collaborating with both technical and business stakeholders.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of Salesforce Commerce (CloudCraze / Lightning) solutions.
• Act as the primary technical authority for Salesforce Commerce projects and related integrations.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical oversight to ensure high-quality, scalable implementations.

• Customize and enhance Salesforce B2B Commerce using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and related technologies.
• Build and maintain APIs and integrations between Salesforce and external systems.
• Configure essential components such as product catalogs, pricing structures, order flows, and checkout processes.

• Partner with business analysts, architects, and project managers to transform business requirements into technical specifications.
• Manage the full software development lifecycle: requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
• Ensure all solutions align with security, performance, and maintainability best practices.

• Mentor junior developers and promote adherence to Salesforce development best practices.
• Foster knowledge sharing across the development team.

• Stay current with Salesforce platform innovations, updates, and best practices.
• Identify areas for system and process optimization to drive continuous platform improvement.

 
Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• 5+ years of hands-on development experience with Salesforce B2B Commerce (CloudCraze or Lightning).
• Proven experience leading technical teams and designing scalable Salesforce-based solutions.
• Advanced knowledge of Apex, LWC, Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce APIs.
• Strong background in configuring Salesforce objects, process automation, and workflows.
• Expertise in B2B eCommerce business processes including catalogs, pricing, orders, and cart management.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve complex technical problems effectively.

• Salesforce certifications such as B2B Commerce Developer, Platform Developer II, Application Architect, or Technical Architect.
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Copado).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
• Working knowledge of front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Estimated Min Rate: $140000.00
Estimated Max Rate: $160000.00
