Key Responsibilities
Project Management and Delivery
- Manage multiple concurrent initiatives from planning through execution
- Build and maintain project plans, milestones, timelines, action trackers, and status reports. Track deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues, and decisions
- Coordinate work across business, data, engineering, finance, risk, credit, and operations teams. Follow up with owners and proactively remove blockers
- Keep projects moving when priorities, scope, or requirements change
- Provide clear updates to stakeholders and leadership
Business Analysis and Requirements
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand their data and reporting needs
- Gather, document, and organize business and technical requirements
- Translate business needs into clear deliverables for data engineering teams
- Help define project scope when the work is not fully structured
- Document workflows, processes, data requirements, and expected outcomes
- Support the creation of user stories, acceptance criteria, process documentation, and project materials
- Ask the right questions to identify gaps, risks, and dependencies
- Work directly with data and engineering teams supporting Metis and related data products
- Use SQL to query and analyze data before presenting findings to project or business stakeholders
- Develop a practical understanding of data sources, data flows, data quality, and reporting requirements
- Review data issues and help determine the appropriate business or technical response
- Participate in initiatives involving security data, client data, finance data, market data, performance data, governance, and master data management
- Learn new platforms, tools, and processes as project needs evolve
- Use Jira to manage work, track progress, and maintain project visibility
- Produce reporting and communication materials for different stakeholder groups
- Use AI tools to accelerate project reporting, documentation, analysis, requirements development, and stakeholder communication
- Identify opportunities to improve how the team manages information and delivers work
Required Qualifications
- Experience managing technology, data, or enterprise business initiatives
- Strong hands on Project Management experience
- Strong working knowledge of Jira
- Experience gathering and documenting requirements
- Ability to work with technical teams, including data engineering or software engineering groups
- Practical SQL experience and the ability to perform basic data analysis
- Experience within financial services or another complex data driven environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
