Sr. Analytics Engineer

Yoh has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Analytics Engineer to join a high-growth technology company building an all-in-one productivity platform. Title: Senior Analytics Engineer
Salary:$140,000-$160,000
Location: United States (Remote)
Type: Full time, direct hire

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, reusable data models that support analytics and business intelligence across the organization.
• Develop and implement robust SQL-based data transformation pipelines with a focus on maintainability, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Take full ownership of key datasets, ensuring their integrity and usability for stakeholders across multiple departments.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and develop scalable solutions that inform strategic decisions.
• Implement best practices in data governance, version control, and testing using modern data tools.
• Proactively monitor data quality and resolve pipeline issues before they impact stakeholders.
• Utilize AI-powered development tools to streamline daily work and enhance productivity.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in data or analytics roles, with at least 2 years specializing in Analytics Engineering.
• Advanced SQL skills and understanding of database performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with dbt, including development standards such as testing, modularization, and documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end data modeling workflows and resolve data reliability issues.
• Proficient in using Git for collaborative development and version control.
• Experience with data observability tools such as Metaplane or similar.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a collaborative mindset.
• Familiarity with modern data stack technologies such as Snowflake, AWS, Terraform, and cloud-based analytics environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background working in a SaaS, tech, or subscription-based business.
• Prior experience with full-stack data platforms and cloud infrastructure.
