Speech Pathologist

Speech Pathologist needed for an opportunity with Yoh’s university client located in New Brunswick, NJ. This well-esteemed client is seeking a compassionate and motivated candidate to join their Developmental Disabilities group in a classroom setting for students ages 3 ½ - 18 years of age.
 
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-4:00pm
Type: Contract to Hire or Permanent
Pay:$44-50/hr
 
What You’ll Be Doing:

• Conducts comprehensive assessments of the language, communication, feeding, and social needs of the students enrolled at the DDDC.
• Analyze and interpret diagnostic data, including standardized and non-standardized tests, observations, and parent/teacher input.
• Develop and implement specific therapeutic intervention (programs).
• Provide direct and indirect therapy services, individual or in small groups.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed.
• Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences.
• Consults, collaborates, and trains parents, teachers, and school district Child Study Teams to insure coordination and consistency of identified goals in the student’s IEP

 
What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• New Jersey State Speech-Language Pathology license
• Speech Language Specialist Standard Certificate
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellow (CF)
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or an equivalent education
• 2 years of experience to include experience with students with autism is preferred
