Speech Pathologist
needed for an opportunity with Yoh’s university client located in New Brunswick, NJ.
This well-esteemed client is seeking a compassionate and motivated candidate to join their Developmental Disabilities group in a classroom setting for students ages 3 ½ - 18 years of age.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8a-4:00pm
Type:
Contract to Hire or Permanent
Pay:$44-50/hr
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Conducts comprehensive assessments of the language, communication, feeding, and social needs of the students enrolled at the DDDC.
- Analyze and interpret diagnostic data, including standardized and non-standardized tests, observations, and parent/teacher input.
- Develop and implement specific therapeutic intervention (programs).
- Provide direct and indirect therapy services, individual or in small groups.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed.
- Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences.
- Consults, collaborates, and trains parents, teachers, and school district Child Study Teams to insure coordination and consistency of identified goals in the student’s IEP
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- New Jersey State Speech-Language Pathology license
- Speech Language Specialist Standard Certificate
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellow (CF)
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or an equivalent education
- 2 years of experience to include experience with students with autism is preferred
