This is a hands-on warehouse role supporting order fulfillment, shipping/receiving, inventory movement, and general warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and attendance are critical.

Location: Pleasanton, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, first shift. Typical start time is around 8:00 AM; training or operational needs may require a 7:30 AM start. Overtime may be available as needed.
Compensation:$22–$26/hour DOE
Type: 6-Month Contract
Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, label, and stage orders accurately for internal and external customers
- Verify items, quantities, and shipment information before orders are released
- Receive incoming packages and materials, inspect quantities, and route items appropriately
- Support inventory putaway, stocking, and material movement throughout the warehouse
- Use RF scanners, handheld devices, and warehouse systems to process and track materials
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities
- Support inventory counts and cycle-count activities to help maintain inventory accuracy
- Maintain organized storage and work areas
- Follow established warehouse, safety, and quality procedures
- Support general warehouse and material-handling needs as required
- Work collaboratively with warehouse and operations team members to meet daily productivity goals
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, order picking, fulfillment, shipping/receiving, material handling, or a similar environment
- Hands-on experience picking and packing orders preferred
- RF scanner or handheld barcode scanner experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain order accuracy
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work independently when needed
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in cooler or cold-room environments for periods of time as needed
- Basic computer skills
- Experience with warehouse management or ERP systems is a plus; Oracle experience is preferred but not required
- Experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or regulated environments is a plus but not required
- Willingness to work occasional overtime as business needs require
