Sensor Validation Technician – Lab Operations Focus
Looking for multiple resources to support hardware validation for touch, motion, haptics, and health sensors on Pixel devices. This role is centered on hands-on lab operations, test execution, and support for sensor engineering teams. Candidates will work closely with hardware and validation engineers to ensure lab readiness and the successful execution of test protocols.

Scope:
• Set up and maintain hardware R&D lab equipment, tools, and materials.
• Assist in assembly and repair of sensor test fixtures.
• Track and organize test hardware and devices for engineering teams.
• Execute validation tests following SOPs for phones, watches, earbuds, etc.
• Run existing scripts to conduct tests, collect data, and control equipment.
• Report any issues with fixtures, data integrity, or test execution.
• Organize and store raw test data and share basic analysis results.
• Support sensor engineers in running performance validation or debug workflows.

Required:
• Hands-on experience with electronics and hardware lab tools.
• Familiarity with general hardware test procedures.
• Comfort working with spreadsheets and document tools (Google Sheets, Docs, Drive).
• Ability to execute Python scripts and use computer-based testing tools.

Pluses:
• Experience in a hardware R&D or device validation environment.
• Exposure to consumer electronics testing (e.g. phones, wearables).
• Interest in learning and growing into scripting or automation support.
