Sensor Validation Technician – Advanced Test Development
We are hiring two individuals to support advanced sensor validation for touch, motion, haptics, and health sensors on consumer electronic devices. This role extends beyond basic lab support into test development, scripting, and hardware-level rework. Technicians will work in close partnership with engineers on experimental design, test fixture creation, and debug workflows.
 
Scope:

• Set up and maintain lab equipment and sensor validation infrastructure.
• Execute and assist in design of experiments, test protocols, and validation plans.
• Modify and create scripts for data collection, test automation, and device control.
• Help debug test failures and script execution issues.
• Rework consumer electronics hardware and evaluation kits (board and FATP level).
• Collaborate with engineering teams on fixture design, testing methodology, and results review.
• Support hardware and firmware teams in validation and bring-up of new features or components.

 
Required:

• Familiarity with Python programming for test scripting.
• Hands-on experience with electronics kits or consumer hardware validation.
• Experience with assembly, teardown, and PCB/EE rework of consumer hardware.
• Ability to troubleshoot and iterate on test procedures with minimal oversight.

 
Pluses:

• Background in hardware automation or test fixture design.
• Experience supporting engineers in fast-paced prototyping environments.
• Familiarity with Google tools and workflows (Docs, Sheets, Drive).

Estimated Min Rate: $20.00
