Senior Technical Associate - Research & Development

Onsite-Analytical Chemistry Technician  needed for a  contract  opportunity with Yoh’s client located in Wilmington, DE.
The Big Picture – Top Skills Should You Possess:

• BS/MS Chemistry with a minimum of two (2) years of analytical experience, industrial experience a plus
• Ability to go onsite daily, M-F; 8am – 4:30pm
• Pay Range: $40 - $46/hr; depending on experience

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Will assist an interdisciplinary process chemistry and engineering team in the Emerging Technologies organization aimed at the scale-up and commercialization of product candidates from the E&I division.
• Provide analytical chemistry support in a team environment for organic synthesis, polymerization and process development.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• BS/MS Chemistry with a minimum of two (2) years of analytical experience, industrial experience a plus
• Excellent organization and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to contribute to multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency with some analytical techniques below:
  • HPLC, UPLC, LCMS
  • GC, GCMS
  • GPC
  • Karl Fisher titrator, rheometer, UV-vis spectrophotometer

Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications:          

• Experience in an R&D or Pilot plant environment a plus
• Knowledge of organic chemistry and electronic materials a plus
