Responsibilities
- Conduct risk assessments across operational, financial, compliance, and strategic domains.
- Perform detailed product and class analysis to evaluate performance by category.
- Monitor program and portfolio performance monthly, identifying trends and anomalies.
- Provide pricing adjustment recommendations based on performance data, loss ratios, and market trends.
- Collaborate with external partners on pricing, program changes, and risk-sharing arrangements.
- Prepare and submit filings for applicable regulatory or partner approvals.
- Support audits and internal control evaluations; recommend improvements to governance frameworks.
- Partner with legal, compliance, and risk teams to address contractual and regulatory matters.
- Monitor regulatory changes and support policy and procedure updates.
- Produce accurate, standardized monthly reports across multiple dimensions (e.g., program, partner, and channel).
- Handle ad hoc reporting requests and conduct root cause analysis for data anomalies.
- Translate operational and compliance needs into clear data requirements for IT and analytics teams.
- Maintain strong data governance standards for accuracy, security, and retention.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, risk management, finance, or related field (Master’s a plus).
- 4–6 years of combined experience in risk management, compliance, or related analysis.
- Experience in actuarial analysis, reinsurance, insurance product management, or regulatory filings preferred.
- Proven ability to analyze performance data and recommend strategic pricing adjustments.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL, Excel, and business intelligence tools (Python/R a plus).
- Solid understanding of regulatory compliance and governance frameworks.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
