Yoh is looking for an experienced Senior Product Specialist
with deep expertise in the Product Strategy & Insurance domain.
This role supports a large-scale modernization program focused on retiring legacy systems and advancing digital insurance product capabilities.
Role Summary
Product Strategy & Delivery Lead – Insurance Policy Systems
- Spearhead the strategic direction and continual improvement of policy-related product offerings, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and product vision.
- Develop comprehensive scopes and detailed use cases to streamline product enhancement and accelerate delivery timelines.
- Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure developed solutions fulfill both customer expectations and internal requirements.
- Define product strategies, set priorities, and drive maximum value for users through thoughtful product planning and execution.
- Prepare thorough documentation for product changes, including overarching scopes and specific business use cases.
- Conduct stakeholder analyses at both the product and initiative levels to identify engagement strategies and influence management.
- Build and manage long-term product roadmaps and technical strategies to guide enhancements and modernization efforts.
- Explore opportunities for leveraging emerging technologies to optimize service delivery and improve customer and operational outcomes.
- Lead business teams through structured problem and value statement creation, including the articulation of change impacts for each initiative.
- Participate in requirements-gathering sessions, proactively identifying potential issues and ensuring alignment across teams.
- Support user acceptance testing by coordinating weekly check-ins, tracking progress on test case creation and execution, and troubleshooting defects or blockers.
- Collaborate with change management teams to coordinate successful deployment of all product updates.
- Provide regular product performance and progress updates, covering achievements, risks, and upcoming changes.
- Perform resource capacity assessments to ensure teams are equipped for upcoming changes and launches.
- Maintain real-time visibility into product status through up-to-date reporting tools and dashboards.
- Facilitate monthly planning and readiness checkpoints with key business groups to ensure product releases are fully supported by operational activities, including testing and change implementation.
- Foster strong collaborative relationships across departments, including project teams, customer experience units, vendor partners, and IT development and QA teams.
- Provide guidance and training to junior team members in product management roles, supporting their professional development and success.
- Support the integration of Salesforce with internal systems to create a cohesive policy management experience that maximizes organizational value.
- Leverage Salesforce configuration expertise to customize workflows, user interfaces, and business rules to meet operational needs.
- Serve as a Product Owner for Salesforce, translating business needs into platform features, user stories, and implementation roadmaps.
- Apply case management administration experience to optimize case flow, tracking, and resolution within the Salesforce platform.
- Lead discovery sessions to evaluate integration options between Salesforce and other business applications, enabling case and email automation and greater platform utility.
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to identify interim solutions for case/email integration while broader CMS implementations are being designed and planned.
- Drive continuous improvement of Salesforce features in line with digital experience strategy, while ensuring adherence to governance, security, and compliance requirements.
