Yoh is seeking a driven, detail-oriented, and lab-focused Senior Research Associate, Cancer Biology
to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and executing cell-based assays and developing innovative platforms to evaluate our proprietary compounds. You’ll collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to advance the discovery of novel cancer therapeutics. The final title will be based on your experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Independently design and carry out research experiments.
- Conduct in vitro cellular assays to profile compounds and investigate mechanisms of action for potential anti-cancer drugs.
- Engineer and maintain cell lines for use in screening assays.
- Culture and maintain both tumorigenic and non-tumorigenic cell lines.
- Perform cell-based assays such as CellTiter-Glo (CTG), IncuCyte imaging, and colony formation to assess cell viability and proliferation.
- Analyze experimental data and prepare presentations using PowerPoint.
- Troubleshoot and optimize assays to ensure data quality and reproducibility.
- Collaborate closely with research scientists to align experimental work with project goals.
- Present findings and updates in team and project meetings.
- B.S. or M.S. degree in cancer biology, cell biology, molecular biology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of relevant research experience, ideally in drug discovery in pharmaceutical or biotech.
- Strong expertise in mammalian cell culture and aseptic techniques.
- Hands-on experience with cell viability assays, RNA interference (siRNA/shRNA), small molecule screening, western blotting, qRT-PCR, and other molecular biology techniques.
- Familiarity with flow cytometry and immunofluorescence is a plus.
- Experience with 3D spheroid assays is advantageous.
- Proven ability to develop, optimize, and troubleshoot cell-based assays.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and timelines.
- High attention to detail and a passion for integrating scientific research with drug discovery.
Estimated Min Rate: $42.00
Estimated Max Rate: $60.00
