Senior IT Business Analyst

Senior IT Business Analyst needed for a  12-month Contract  opportunity with Yoh’s client located in  Boston, MA.

Work type: Contract – 12 months
Location: Boston, MA
Pay range: $58 -$83/Hr.
Client will Not accept H1’s or sponsor.

The Big Picture – Top Skills Should You Possess/Core Focus of the Role:

• Strategic + hands-on business analysis around enterprise systems, integrations, infrastructure, and cross-platform workflows — aligned with capital projects.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, IS, CS, or Business
  • 5+ years IT Business Analyst experience
  • Strong experience w/ enterprise system integrations
  • Solid understanding: networks, servers, cloud, security
  • Requirements elicitation + business process modeling
  • Experience w/ API integrations + middleware
  • Tools: Jira, Confluence, Visio/Lucidchart, MS Office
  • Strong communication w/ technical + non-technical audiences

What You’ll Be Doing/ Responsibilities:

• Requirements gathering (business / functional / technical)
  • Documenting current vs future state processes and data flows
  • Translating business needs into user stories, specs, system requirements
  • Leading integration efforts: APIs, middleware, systems interoperability
  • Working closely with infra teams (network, cloud, security, architecture)
  • Leading solution design workshops with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Process mapping, workflow documentation, diagrams (Visio, Lucidchart, etc.)
  • Vendor evaluations, RFP participation, implementation planning
  • UAT planning, QA testing support, reconciliation of test results
  • Post-deployment support / continuous improvement
  • Mentoring junior BAs + strengthening BA standards

Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s / MBA
• CBAP, PMI-PBA, ITIL, TOGAF
• Experience: ServiceNow, Workday, Salesforce, SAP
• SQL / Tableau / PowerBI experience
• Cloud: Azure, AWS experience
