About the Role We are seeking a highly analytical and motivated investment professional to join our External Investments team as a Senior Investment Analyst. This role focuses on fundamental investment research, manager due diligence, portfolio monitoring, and preparation of Investment Committee and Board materials, with an emphasis on public and private credit markets.

The position offers meaningful exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to contribute directly to asset allocation, portfolio construction, and capital deployment decisions.

Key Responsibilities Existing Portfolio Oversight
  • Assist Portfolio Managers and the CIO in evaluating and monitoring external manager investments and co-investments, particularly within private credit markets

  • Contribute to asset allocation, portfolio construction, and risk management initiatives

  • Lead portfolio reporting efforts, including:

    • Maintaining internal databases

    • Preparing periodic portfolio reviews

    • Creating materials for Investment Team and Board meetings

  • Conduct ongoing manager analysis and maintain monitoring documentation

  • Coordinate with consultants to ensure proper coverage of potential investment opportunities and pacing plans

  • Maintain regular communication with external managers

New Investment Due Diligence
  • Support sourcing and underwriting of new fund investments and co-investment opportunities

  • Conduct detailed qualitative and quantitative due diligence on:

    • Investment strategy and process

    • Portfolio construction

    • Organizational structure

    • Historical performance

  • Prepare investment memoranda and present recommendations to the Investment Committee

  • Participate in manager meetings and ongoing relationship development

Research & Strategic Support
  • Assist in developing strategic and opportunistic investment themes

  • Prepare research reports and presentations for senior leadership

  • Represent the organization at industry conferences and annual meetings

  • Review macroeconomic, financial, and geopolitical research to inform portfolio strategy

Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Business Administration, or related field

  • Minimum 5 years of investment experience, preferably within:

    • Endowment or foundation

    • OCIO firm

    • Family office

    • Fund of funds

    • Investment bank

    • Consulting firm

    • Similar institutional allocator environment

  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and financial modeling skills

  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred
  • Experience in private credit markets

  • MBA, MSF, JD, or other relevant graduate degree

  • CFA or CAIA designation
