Our client is seeking an experienced Senior GCP Architect with a strong background in Agentic AI, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services to drive the design, delivery, and management of scalable, AI-enabled platforms in New York City.
Key Responsibilities
GCP Platform Design & Delivery
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable, secure, and reliable platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support AI-driven applications.
- Partner with existing teams focused on the data platform and foundation layer to ensure integration patterns and scalable architecture decisions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure adherence to best practices in software development, DevOps, and cloud-native design.
- Develop and maintain platform roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business objectives and emerging technologies.
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP): Strong experience with core GCP services (e.g., Compute Engine, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, AI/ML APIs, Kubernetes Engine)
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP): Strong experience with IAM, security & compliance services (e.g., cloud armor) as it relates to landing zone patterns & scaling projects & services.
- Agentic AI: Deep understanding of AI systems with autonomous and adaptive capabilities, including their design, training, and deployment.
- DevOps & CI/CD: Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Cloud Build).
- Proven experience in leading platform design and delivery for enterprise-scale systems.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience managing iterative delivery processes.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and ensuring alignment across technical and business stakeholders.
