Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure IT Integration Project Manager to lead complex IT integration initiatives within a Microsoft Azure environment. This individual will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering projects that integrate applications, data, infrastructure, and business processes across the organization.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background managing enterprise IT projects, experience with cloud-based integrations, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, technical resources, vendors, and business stakeholders. This role requires strong leadership, communication, risk management, and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end IT integration projects from initiation through implementation and closeout.
- Develop project charters, schedules, budgets, resource plans, communication plans, and risk registers.
- Coordinate integration efforts across applications, data platforms, infrastructure, security, networking, and business teams.
- Manage projects involving Microsoft Azure services, cloud migrations, APIs, middleware, data integration, and application connectivity.
- Partner with solution architects, engineers, developers, business analysts, cybersecurity teams, and vendors to define and deliver project objectives.
- Establish project governance, milestones, dependencies, reporting standards, and decision-making processes.
- Monitor project progress, budget, scope, quality, and resource utilization.
- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
- Facilitate project meetings, steering committee updates, status reviews, and executive communications.
- Manage requirements, change requests, scope adjustments, and stakeholder expectations.
- Coordinate testing, data validation, deployment planning, cutover activities, and post-implementation support.
- Ensure projects follow established IT, security, architecture, change management, and compliance standards.
- Drive issue resolution and escalate concerns appropriately to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and provide regular status reporting to leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- 8+ years of experience managing complex IT projects, including integration or technology modernization initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects involving multiple applications, systems, or business units.
- Experience working in Microsoft Azure environments.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycles, Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
- Experience managing project budgets, timelines, risks, dependencies, vendors, and executive stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of application integration, APIs, data flows, cloud services, and enterprise technology environments.
- Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
- Project Management Professional certification.
- Certified ScrumMaster, SAFe, or other Agile certification.
- Experience with Azure integration technologies such as Azure Integration Services, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, API Management, Service Bus, Data Factory, or Event Grid.
- Experience with enterprise application, ERP, CRM, data warehouse, or infrastructure integration projects.
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and automated testing.
- Experience coordinating cloud migration, modernization, or hybrid-cloud initiatives.
- Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, Jira, or Smartsheet.
- Familiarity with ITIL, change management, security, and compliance practices.
Estimated Min Rate: $59.50
Estimated Max Rate: $85.00
