Required Skills:
- Core Java 11+ proficiency including streams, data structures, algorithms, and REST API development
- Extensive experience with event-driven architecture, messaging, and streaming tools such as Kafka and SQS
- Strong SQL skills; experience creating and managing relational databases, plus NoSQL databases like DynamoDB or MongoDB
- Proven AWS experience beyond deployment—provisioning and managing services such as SQS, EKS, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, S3, and Kinesis
- Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration
- Ability to develop and implement CI/CD pipelines from scratch
- Familiarity with database version control tools like Liquibase
- Strong understanding of security, performance, and scalability best practices in API and system design
- Experience with CloudFormation Templates and Terraform for infrastructure as code
- Knowledge of testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito
- Exposure to Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of hands-on software development experience with a focus on backend systems and cloud architecture
- Willingness to participate in assessments as part of the interview process
- Strong communication skills to collaborate across global teams
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-evolving technological landscape
