Position Summary
We have multiple Contract Assembly Technicians opportunities in Phoenix Arizona to support semiconductor equipment assembly, installation preparation, and material movement activities within a customer FAB environment. Assists with equipment builds, installation readiness, and mechanical assembly.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical Assembly Subassembly of equipment, and components.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment to complete tasks.
- Read and follow work instructions, engineering drawings, and procedures.
- Support equipment staging, installation preparation, and material movement.
- Assist with equipment leveling, alignment, and mechanical adjustments.
- Inspect components and assemblies for quality and identify defects.
- Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.
- Adhere to all environmental, health, and safety requirements.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, logistics, and field operations teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, field service, or maintenance.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting ability.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring devices.
- Ability to read and follow written work instructions and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications: (Not Necessary) A plus
- Semiconductor manufacturing or semiconductor equipment experience.
- Experience supporting equipment installations or manufacturing builds.
- Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, or electro-mechanical assemblies.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
