Semiconductor Engineering Process Technician

Semiconductor Engineering Process Technician needed for an 18-month contract to hire opportunity with Yoh’s client located in Gloucester, MA

Pay Rate:
25.90 to 37.00

What You Will Be Doing:

•    Supporting Clean Room Metrology Lab operations
•    Coordinates with engineering on samples priorities
•    Mounting, dismounting, cleaning and handling customer samples – coupons and wafers
•    Tracking and maintaining order of the incoming jobs and their execution
•    Knowledgeably operates laboratory process equipment and instrumentation
•    Execution of metrology jobs by using developed BKMs and available recipes on SEM metrology tools
•    Performing analysis of metrology images with company proprietary algorithms and SW, with predefined (available) recipes
•    Report preparation according to predefined template
•    Interface with requestors, understand their detail requirement, and communicate on results; help lab on monitoring wafer in process (WIP) and maintaining throughput
•    Manage wafer logistics for the Demo Lab, Field Applications and Advanced
Applications teams.
Perform Wafer transfers, particle measurements and wafer shipping
•    Interface with HW team, HW troubleshooting, execute tool maintenance
•    Order wafers, manage wafer storages, and keep track of wafer spending.

What You Need to Bring to the Table: 
•    Have a college degree in Material, electrical, chemistry engineering, or a related field.
•    Basic data analytics skill
•    Able to be hands-on for lab operations, including sample handing and equipment operations.
•    Team player
•    Semiconductor experience is nice to have, but not a must.
•    Have 0-2 years of experience

•    Ability to work under pressure
•    Ability to work in team and individually
•    Knowledge / experience with Semiconductor and SEM metrology tools is a plus
