What We’re Looking For
The Business/Financial Analyst supports Digital Innovations project teams by managing Finance, Contracts, and Resource Management functions. This individual will collaborate closely with Technology and Business Product Owners, Digital Innovations leadership, and Accounting & Finance (A&F) to ensure accurate financial reporting, effective contract administration, and efficient resource management.
We are looking for an energetic, detail-oriented, proactive, and customer service-focused professional with strong analytical skills. The ideal candidate is tech savvy, advanced in Excel, able to anticipate needs, identify risks and opportunities, and translate analysis into clear, timely recommendations across the portfolio.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Partner with Digital Innovations leadership to develop business cases and financial analyses for new initiatives, including ROI and value calculations; track and report results on a quarterly basis.
- Serve as a liaison between project teams and A&F to support month-end close, financial forecasting, and budget-planning activities.
- Assist with the month-end close process by preparing and reviewing accruals and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial reporting.
- Conduct financial analysis, including variance explanations, vendor comparisons, cost-savings opportunities, and onshore/offshore resource-mix analysis.
- Support the development and ongoing data quality of the DI Hub project-management tool, which brings financial reporting, resource management, and contract management into a single application.
- Submit and monitor product-team contracts in Ariba, and track related purchase orders, budget spend, and upcoming renewals to support timely processing, compliance, and effective financial management.
- Maintain accurate Digital Innovations team rosters and coordinate onboarding requests to support a smooth new-hire experience.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Two or more years of experience in financial analysis, finance operations, project financial management, or a related role; experience in a technology or product-focused environment is preferred.
- Experience supporting financial planning and analysis activities, including forecasting, budgeting, month-end close, accruals, and variance analysis.
- Ability to develop business cases and financial models that support investment decisions, new initiatives, and portfolio planning.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to identify and communicate risks, trends, cost-saving opportunities, vendor comparisons, and resource-mix insights.
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, data analysis, reporting, and budget tracking.
- Experience managing contracts, purchase orders, and renewals; familiarity with procurement systems such as Ariba is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy, financial reporting integrity, and process compliance.
- Ability to work effectively with Technology, Product, leadership, and Accounting & Finance stakeholders in a customer service-focused manner.
- Comfortable working with technology tools and supporting process improvements, reporting solutions, or project-management systems.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, energetic approach and a continuous-improvement mindset.
Added Bonus If You Have
- Experience with SAP finance and project-related modules, including reporting or financial data analysis.
- Experience with Workday or similar workforce-management systems for resource reporting, onboarding, and offboarding.
- Experience with project portfolio management, resource-management, contract-management, or financial-planning tools.
- Experience preparing business cases, vendor comparisons, cost-benefit analyses, or financial models for technology initiatives.
- Knowledge of KPIs and experience creating, tracking, and presenting performance reporting for business reviews.
- Experience analyzing labor costs, vendor spend, or onshore/offshore delivery models to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Familiarity with Agile, product, or technology-delivery environments.
