  Summary: 
  
The main function of a sales associate is to sell goods for wholesalers or manufacturers to businesses or groups of individuals. A typical sales associate is responsible for making buyers and purchasing agents interested in their merchandise, demonstrating their products and explaining how those products could benefit the customer, by reducing costs and/or increasing sales. The main function of a sales manager directs the actual distribution or movement of a product or service to the customer. A typical sales manager coordinates sales distribution and analyzes sales statistics to determine sales potential and inventory requirements.
  Job Responsibilities: 
  
Recommend products to customers, based on customers' needs and interests.
Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.
Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties and delivery dates.
Provide customers with product samples and catalogs.
Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.
Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients and attending trade shows and conferences.
  Requirements: 
  
Bachelor’s degree with 0 to 2 years’ experience (if no Bachelor’s then must have 3 to 5 years’ experience)
Cross functional
Support sales team (inside sales support)
Variety of operational support and pivot on project
Super detail oriented an organized – act under pressure
Ability to work independently due to being remote
Sales reporting, logistics, and financials
Excel (Intermediate to Advanced) – macros, VBAs, pivot tables for billing repots, updates reports, formulas to reduce time for reporting, create comprehensive reporting to share with leadership, reporting for sales team on a monthly basis
SAP experience would be a plus since the team uses this, but not required (can be trained)
Experience with financials (i.e. credits, debits, etc.) is a plus but if not this can be trained
Provide internal, cross-functional administrative support for the sales team
Conduct daily administration, pricing, condition, PUMI submission
Assist with NERP reporting
Generate, prepare, manipulate and analyze standard and custom reports
Contribute to research projects using various other data
Assist in meeting group deadlines by facilitating processes, situations, and taking corrective action on issues
Help with sales tool support
Maintain and audit account assignments and territory accuracy
Provide backup support to team members as needed
Assist with event coordination (i.e. BG, NECO, NATM)
Dacor Sales Ops
Training sales teams
New account setup support
National account operations; claims, sales analysis
Budget coordination/tracking for Dacor/Regional teams
Ad Hoc projects as needed
