This is a hands-on safety role, not a management position.
Seeking a Safety Specialist with experience supporting construction, industrial, manufacturing, or semiconductor projects. This individual will be responsible for onsite safety compliance, audits, inspections, incident investigations, contractor oversight, training, and customer interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Safety Program Administration
- Incident Investigation & Risk Management
- Safety Audits & Inspections
- Contractor & Customer Support
- Training & Compliance
- Maintain safety records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare reports and safety metrics as requested.
Must-Haves
- 2+ years of EHS, Safety Coordinator, or Safety Specialist experience
- OSHA knowledge and compliance experience
- Incident investigation and root cause analysis
- Safety audits and inspections
- Risk assessments and hazard identification
- Safety documentation and reporting
- Experience working around contractors and construction activities
- Familiarity with site safety plans and pre-task planning
- Ability to enforce safety standards in active project environments
- Experience conducting or coordinating safety training
- Strong communication skills
- Comfortable interacting with customers, contractors, and field personnel
- Semiconductor industry
- Clean room environments
- Industrial manufacturing facilities
- Automated Material Handling Systems (AMHS)
- OSHA 30
- BCSP Certifications (CHST, OHST, ASP, GSP)
