Compensation:

  • Base Salary:  $110,000-$120,000 (DOE)
  • Bonus:  5% annual performance bonus
  • Schedule:  Regular business hours, Monday–Friday

About the Opportunity:  We’re hiring a proactive and career-driven  EHS-Safety Specialist  to take ownership of safety and compliance initiatives within a manufacturing environment. This is a  mid-level, individual contributor  role - ideal for someone with solid experience who’s ready to make a meaningful impact while continuing to grow professionally. Key Responsibilities: You’ll be the key point of contact for all things safety-related, from OSHA compliance and training to risk assessments and emergency planning. This role is hands-on, collaborative, and essential to maintaining a safe and efficient production floor.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs in compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards.
  • Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
  • Deliver safety training sessions and maintain accurate training records.
  • Manage OSHA logs, workers’ compensation cases, and safety documentation.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
  • Support quality and compliance initiatives (e.g., ISO 13485, 21 CFR Part 820).
  • Track safety metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in emergency response and business continuity planning.
What You Bring:
  • Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field. (OR 3 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree)
  • Experience:  Minimum of 5 years in a safety-focused role within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Expertise:  Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety best practices.
  • Mindset:  High energy, self-motivated, and eager to grow in your career.
  • Communication:  Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
  • Professionalism:  Active LinkedIn profile preferred.
