RN or LVN - Occupational Health

Occupational Health Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse  needed for a full-time, temp contract  opportunity with Yoh’s client located in  Plano, TX .
 

Clinic offers occupational, primary, and preventative care for employees of large corporations (similar to urgent care but not fast-paced and only seeing adults). We only need temp support until end of the year (clinic will be closing this location).
--> SHIFTS: Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm until December 31, 2025


Top Skills You Should Possess:

• Active/unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in state of Texas
• Minimum (3) years' experience as a Nurse 
• Preferred experience in: Occupational Health, Employee Health, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Primary Care, School Nursing, Corrections, and/or Family Medicine type setting
• Recent clinical experience and strong first-aid skills
• Professional, dedicated, friendly, and helpful employee

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Room patients and take vitals
• Nursing assessment, triage, treatment, and education for employee health concerns
• Provide wellness materials/information
• Administer first-aid
• Provide medical testing such as: blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, etc.
• Administer vaccinations
• Blood draws
• Assist the provider when needed
• Assist First Responders in medical emergencies

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• Must be confident administering vaccinations and with phlebotomy
• Passionate about promoting health and wellbeing in the workplace
• BLS certified
• Yearly TB (PPD) test or QuantiFERON Gold
• Previous experience using EPIC a huge plus!
