RF Test Technician/Engineer
The Radar team is looking for a hands-on Test Technician or Test Engineer to support development, bring-up, and testing of advanced radar hardware in our Fremont lab. This role spans lab infrastructure setup, hardware handling, and high-frequency RF testing. You'll be working closely with engineering teams on prototype validation and system debugging across a wide range of radar technologies.

Pluses:
• Support hardware prototype bring-up, RF testing, and debug with minimal supervision.
• Set up and maintain lab test infrastructure, including – 80 GHz near-field and far-field anechoic chambers and RF test equipment such as VNAs, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
• Assemble and disassemble hardware systems involving mechanical structures, PCBAs, and high-performance RF antennas/structures operating up to 81 GHz.
• Execute test plans, including RF measurements, tuning, calibration, and troubleshooting.
• Document test procedures, setups, and configurations for repeatability and knowledge transfer.
• Perform first-level data analysis: extract key results, generate plots/summaries, and draw initial conclusions.
• Support failure analysis and debugging of test issues in collaboration with design teams.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe lab environment.

Required:
• Experience working in an RF lab environment and operating test equipment (VNAs, spectrum analyzers, etc.)
• Familiarity with radar systems or mmWave RF hardware is a plus
• Strong hands-on skills with mechanical assembly and high-frequency electronics
• Ability to follow procedures carefully, while also thinking critically and troubleshooting issues as they arise
• Organized, self-directed, and able to work independently or as part of a fast-moving team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
 

Estimated Min Rate: $40.500
Estimated Max Rate: $50.00 /hr+. Depends on experience
