Yoh is seeking a highly motivated Research Associate, In Vivo Pharmacology to join our team. This position plays a critical role in advancing our small molecule oncology programs by designing and executing preclinical studies to evaluate efficacy and PK/PD relationships. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and conduct in vivo pharmacology studies using murine models of oncology to assess small molecule therapeutics.
  • Perform cell culture, cell inoculation, dosing, disease monitoring, sample collection, and documentation.
  • Evaluate therapeutic targets, combination strategies, biomarkers, and PK/PD relationships.
  • Support the development of cancer xenograft models.
  • Analyze drug response mechanisms using molecular biology techniques (e.g., gene modulation, pathway analysis).
  • Maintain accurate records in electronic lab notebooks (ELN); analyze data using Excel and GraphPad Prism.
  • Present experimental findings in team meetings.
  • Operate and maintain lab equipment (e.g., anesthesia systems, biosafety cabinets, centrifuges).
  • Manage lab consumables and supplies.
  • Author detailed preclinical study reports.
  • Ensure compliance with IACUC protocols and animal welfare regulations.
  • Participate in weekend and holiday rotations for dosing and monitoring.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Pharmacology, Veterinary/Animal Science, or a related field.
  • 1–2+ years of hands-on experience conducting in vivo rodent studies.
  • Proficiency in rodent procedures: IP, PO, IV, SC dosing, blood collection, dissection, and necropsy.
  • Experience with xenograft and syngeneic models, PK assays, and cell culture is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for integrating basic science into drug discovery.
  • Familiarity with data capture and analysis tools (e.g., ELN, StudyLog, PRISM, Excel).
  • Experience with in vitro/ex vivo assays (qPCR, MSD/ELISA, IHC, FACS) is a plus.
  • Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays.
