Research Associate
Yoh has an opportunity for a Research Associate to work in a cell biology lab of a major pharmaceutical company. This High-Throughput-Screening and Automation team is part of the Discovery Biology Department. We are looking for an independent, skilled, and highly motivated scientist. Successful candidates will focus on evaluating and characterizing the expression of new vaccine candidates and new technologies related to mRNA vaccines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lab based position
- Collaborate as a part of a transversal group
- Carry out cell transfections, analyze data, and prepare highquality data summaries
- Develop immunoassays (Western blot, ELISA, etc) for detection of target proteins in mRNAtransfected cells
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in cell biology, immunology, or another related field
- 2+ years of relevant pharma industry experience
- Experience with routine culturing and transfection of mammalian cells
- Demonstrated expertise in analytical methods including Western blot, ELISA, etc
- Experience with assay development and optimization for Western Blot and ELISA
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a dynamic environment
- Selfmotivated and able to work as a part of a highly collaborative team
- Ability and desire to learn new technology and analytical techniques
Estimated Min Rate: $30.00
Estimated Max Rate: $34.00
