Software Engineer (Remote)
Duration: Twelve Month Contract
Pay: $64-70.00/hr (W2 Only)

Role Overview:
We’re hiring a Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain AI-powered software applications. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data scientists, and ML engineers, to build scalable and reliable distributed systems. The focus is on creating a high-performance data ingestion platform that integrates third-party applications securely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize data ingestion algorithms to improve sync success rate, data completeness, and performance.
• Build platform capabilities to accelerate the development of third-party integrations.
• Design and implement large-scale distributed systems with a focus on reliability, security, and scalability.
• Enable enterprises to create custom connectors using indexing APIs and custom connector capabilities.
• Lead technical projects, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior engineers.

Basic Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience as a backend or full-stack engineer.
• Proficiency in Golang and Python(required); experience with React is a plus.
• Strong background in building large-scale distributed systems.
• Proven leadership in guiding teams and providing technical direction.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate user needs into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience in building third-party app integrations.
• Comfortable working in a 0→1 environment, adapting to ambiguity and shifting priorities.
• Passion for continuous improvement and proactive problem-solving.
