Reliability Test Engineer - SW Development
We are looking for a Reliability Test Engineer with strong software skills and a mechanical background to support reliability testing across hardware products. This role involves executing test procedures, working with lab equipment, and using programming and cloud tools to manage and analyze test data.

Scope:
• Use Python, Java, and Google Cloud Database tools to streamline data collection and analysis.
• Execute and support reliability tests (environmental, mechanical, certification).
• Set up and operate lab equipment including thermal chambers.
• Document test setups and results; track data using spreadsheets and charts.
• Provide regular test updates and ensure safe, proper use of lab equipment.
• Apply mechanical understanding to interpret test behaviors and hardware outcomes.

Required:
• Proficiency in Python, Java, and working with Google Cloud Databases.
• Hands-on experience with lab testing equipment and reliability workflows.
• Mechanical aptitude or background (e.g., mechanical engineering or equivalent experience).
• Strong data tracking, analysis, and documentation skills.
• Instron testing would be ideal but not a hard requirement.

 

Estimated Min Rate: $40.00
Estimated Max Rate: $50.00+/hr. Depends on experience
