Seeking a hands?on Release Management Support Engineer to support embedded ECU software releases. This role focuses on execution, investigation, and collaboration—working closely with a Release Management Lead and experienced engineers to ensure high?quality releases supporting factory and OTA operations.
This position is well?suited for engineers who want deeper exposure to embedded releases, production systems, and real?world vehicle software challenges.
What You’ll Do
- Execute release sanity, regression, and readiness checks for embedded ECU software
- Validate build outputs, release artifacts, and version alignment for factory and OTA releases
- Triage and debug embedded software issues affecting factory EOL, OTA upgrades, or fleet vehicles
- Analyze logs, traces, and system behavior to support root?cause analysis
- Participate in debug calls and follow issues through validation and closure
- Provide hands?on support during factory bring?up and production ramp?ups
- Use Git and CI/CD tools to track software versions and validate release readiness
- Execute and maintain automated sanity or regression tests as part of release workflows
- Solid software engineering fundamentals with experience in embedded or system?level software
- Hands?on experience with Git and basic release workflows
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, build systems, or automated testing
- Experience debugging issues in integration, validation, or production?like environments
- Strong problem?solving skills and willingness to operate in time?sensitive situations
- Automotive or ECU software experience
- Exposure to factory EOL, OTA updates, or vehicle software validation
- Familiarity with diagnostics logs or calibration workflows
