Registered Nurse - Occupational Health

Occupational Health Registered Nurse  needed for a per-diem contract  opportunity with Yoh’s well-known entertainment client located in  Los Angeles, CA 90027 with flexibility to also work in Glendale.


Clinic offers occupational, primary, and preventative care for employees (similar to urgent care but not as fast-paced and only seeing adults). As-needed schedule only to cover PTO and call-outs.
- Need flexibility to work 0-5 shifts per week, Monday-Friday, from 9:00am to 5:00pm (with a 30 minute lunch).  
--> For at least September & October (potential to end of year), will likely need a couple days a week at the Los Angeles location (just East of Hollywood). After that, more sporadic schedule.


Top Skills You Should Possess:

• Active/unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of California
• Minimum (3) years' experience as a Nurse 
• Must have previous experience in: Occupational Health, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Primary Care, School Nursing, Corrections, and/or Family Medicine type setting
• Recent clinical experience and strong first-aid skills
• Professional, dedicated, friendly, and helpful employee

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Nursing assessment, triage, treatment, and education for employee health concerns
• Provide wellness materials/information
• Administer first-aid
• Provide medical testing such as: EKGs, pulmonary function, blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, vision and hearing screening and perform limited interpretation of tests
• Assist First Responders in medical emergencies

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• Must be confident working autonomously, critical thinking, clinical assessments, and working well in emergency situations
• Passionate about promoting health and wellbeing in the workplace
• BLS certified
• Proof of MMR immunizations/titers
• Annual Flu shot highly recommended
