Registered Nurse

Registered Nurse needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh’s client located in Redding, CA!

Top Skills Should You Possess:

• Community health or long-term care experience preferred

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Work within intermediate care facilities and adult residential facilities, conducting assessments for adult patients with intellectual disabilities and medical complexities
• Collaborate with doctors and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and assist staff with medical concerns
• Teach medication certification classes to staff
• Spend time between the office and the residential facilities, ensuring comprehensive care and support
• Oversee and monitor medication supplies
• Advise on the need for urgent care or hospital visit
• Schedule:
  • 1 RN needed for Monday – Friday, 7am – 3pm
  • 1 RN needed for Saturday/Sunday, 7am – 3pm

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• Active and unrestricted California RN license
• Degree from an accredited school of nursing
• Strong knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and regulatory requirements
• Proficiency in patient assessment, care plan development, and admission/discharge activities
• Ability to contribute to interdisciplinary programs and teach nursing curriculum to staff
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
• 2 years of experience in community health, long-term care, or working with developmentally disabled populations preferred
