Role: Quality Performance Manager (Operational Excellence)

Location:  Kieler Wisconsin or Key West Iowa - 5 days onsite

Comp:$130k - $150k base + bonus + profit sharing + benefits

Overview: Operations Compliance & Quality Leader needed to elevate quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing operations setting. This position goes beyond compliance, it’s about shaping processes, guiding teams, and influencing product integrity across the organization to drive improvement. Strong leadership and communication skills needed.

Key Responsibilities:  role is designed for a hands-on leader who can shape quality systems, influence cross-functional teams, and deliver measurable improvements in product reliability and customer satisfaction.

  • Define and execute a quality strategy for facility, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Oversee quality systems that meet ISO/IATF requirements, reduce warranty claims, and optimize cost-of-quality initiatives.
  • Introduce and maintain best practices for error-proofing, managing non-conformance, and supplier quality programs.
  • Track performance metrics and identify trends to proactively address risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Mentor and develop team members to strengthen organizational capability in quality leadership.
  • Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to integrate quality into every stage of production.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of six years in manufacturing operations setting preferably having IATF and/or ISO.
  • Track record of success implementing and managing Quality Management Systems (QMS).
  • Minimum of 2 years skilled in FMEA, DFM, RCCA, and supplier CAPA processes.
Preferred Credentials:
  • ASQ certification and/or Six Sigma Black Belt.
  • Hands-on experience with QMS deployment and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Using tools like Power BI or Power Apps preferred.
