Quality Manager

Quality Manager – Dubuque, IA Are you a strategic quality leader ready to drive transformation from the ground up? Our client is undergoing a Quality Reset —restructuring the department, setting a new vision, and building a team to execute it. This is a rare opportunity to lead change, shape strategy, and build a high-performing quality organization.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the development and execution of a quality strategy from a blank slate.
• Drive compliance with ISO, IATF, and medical device standards.
• Leverage SPC and data analytics to monitor and improve product and process quality.
• Build and structure a team—currently 1 QE and 10–11 techs—with full autonomy.
• Champion change management and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Serve as a servant leader with strong coaching skills and the ability to influence across all levels.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• 7+ years in a regulated industry (ISO, IATF, Med Device) as a quality leader.
• Proven success in QMS implementation, FMEA, DFM, RCCA, and supplier quality.
• Experience with Power BI, Power Apps, and other business intelligence tools.
• Thick skin and a collaborative mindset—able to challenge “we’ve always done it this way” thinking.

Nice to Have:

• ASQ certification
• Six Sigma Black Belt
• Experience building quality teams and systems from scratch

Compensation:

• Estimated range: $68,632 – $98,047
• Open to relocation and sponsorship
