Quality Control Supervisor

Yoh is hiring a Quality Control Supervisor for our Santa Fe Springs client. In the Quality Control Supervisor role you will be focused on supervising quality control related tasks, performing receiving inspection, in process and final inspection functions.  They are seeking a highly motivated and independent supervisor with prior medical device experience. This position will also oversee the quality control department and staff.

Job Functions

• Supervise the daily activities of company’s Quality Control Department, under direct management of the Quality Assurance Manager
• Be proactive in identifying the cost cutting measurements and process improvements
• Maintain inspection schedules
• Oversee Quality Control department and staff
• Manage and administer training for Quality Control staff
• Inspect medical device components
• Ability to use measurement equipment such as Micrometer, Calipers, and Rulers
• Pull products per manufacturing work orders and verify accuracy of information presented
• Open products under laminar flow where appropriate to maintain cleanliness
• Records trace information where required
• Ensures all work order packets and complete and accurate; and reports any discrepancies to planning
• Performs simple mathematical calculations required to assist in completion of packaging batch
• Works with production schedule to ensure priorities are met
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Must be detail oriented and have good interpersonal skills
• Good manufacturing practices
• Complies with all Company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations
• Understands company’s Quality Policy statement
• Able to work independently, under minimum supervision

Education, Licensure and/or Experience

• Education and experience commensurate with job responsibilities

Estimated Min Rate: $72,000.00
Estimated Max Rate: $83,200.00
