The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for performing quality inspections, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of quality systems across manufacturing operations. This role ensures that products, materials, and processes consistently meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements.
This position supports operations within an ISO 9001:2015-certified cleanroom environment focused on the assembly of specialized product kits for regulated manufacturing applications. This role works closely with Quality, Operations, Production, and external suppliers to support quality initiatives, resolve issues, and maintain compliance in a controlled environment.
Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, documentation accuracy, and effective cross-functional communication.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of materials and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct visual inspections and quality activities within an ISO 7 cleanroom environment.
- Maintain accurate and detailed quality records, including inspection reports, test results, and supporting documentation.
- Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Assist with document control activities, including revision management of SOPs, work instructions, forms, and quality records.
- Identify, document, and report non-conforming materials or products; assist with disposition and corrective action activities.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to investigate quality concerns and implement process improvements.
- Support root cause investigations and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) initiatives.
- Ensure proper identification, traceability, and status control of materials and components.
- Assist with supplier quality activities, including verification of supplier documentation and material specifications.
- Support customer and supplier audits, including preparation and follow-up activities.
- Monitor calibration status of inspection and testing equipment to ensure compliance.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years of experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field preferred.
- Experience working within an ISO 9001:2015-certified or otherwise regulated environment preferred.
- Familiarity with inspection tools, measurement systems, and quality documentation practices.
