Title: Quality Control Chemist
Location: St. Louis, MO
Salary: $22-$24/hr.
Responsibilities
- Perform sample testing on incoming raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products per established procedures
- Prepare samples for analysis
- Maintain a clean and orderly working station
- Document findings and share with internal end-users
- Have a full understanding of GMP regulations and ensure that all documentation meets standards
- Understand QC and Manufacturing procedures
- Run routine GC and HPLC analysis
- Assist with OOS/OOT and investigations
- Assist with IQ/OQ/PQ and instrument validation/calibration tasks
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or a related Scientific field
- Previous experience in a Quality Control environment
- Knowledge and Understanding of Chemistry
- Experience with the following equipment: glassware, pH meter, viscometer, balance, TOC, Densitometer, HPLC, GC, FT-IR
