QA Automation Engineer | Migrate existing UFT test suites to Playwright | NYC | Contract

We’re looking for a  QA Automation Engineer  to lead the migration of existing UFT test suites to  Playwright. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in test automation and hands-on experience with  JavaScript/TypeScript. You’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test frameworks that ensure high-quality software delivery.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working in fast-paced environments and using  AI-assisted development tools  to streamline and accelerate test creation and execution. You should be able to collaborate effectively with developers, QA analysts, and product teams to identify test requirements and ensure comprehensive coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Migrate legacy UFT test suites to Playwright
• Develop and maintain scalable automated test frameworks
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Utilize AI tools to enhance productivity and test coverage
• Troubleshoot and resolve automation issues quickly

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with Playwright or similar automation tools
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript
• Familiarity with UFT and test migration strategies
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Estimated Min Rate:$42.00
Estimated Max Rate:$60.00
