Project Manager – Infrastructure & Network (Hybrid Remote)
Are you a seasoned Project Manager with a flair for infrastructure and network projects? Join Northwell Health’s dynamic IT Facilities Management Team and lead critical initiatives in healthcare expansion. This role offers a unique opportunity to impact ambulatory site acquisitions in the Bronx and West Chester areas, working on exciting infrastructure projects that drive technology advancement in a healthcare setting. With a flexible hybrid schedule, travel, and a collaborative environment, your expertise will be vital to our success.
What You’ll Do: Lead and coordinate infrastructure and network projects for the acquisition of ambulatory sites. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including site audit, network, and infrastructure specialists to ensure seamless project execution. Prepare and manage detailed project plans using tools like MS Project or CA Clarity, maintain weekly status reports, and ensure projects stay on schedule and budget. Be a key communicator, translating complex technical requirements into clear updates for stakeholders and team members.
Required Skills:
- Deep understanding of infrastructure and network systems, with experience working on healthcare-related projects
- Excellent communication and written skills, capable of handling extensive documentation
- Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, CA Clarity, or equivalent PPM platforms
- Strong stakeholder management and coordination abilities
- Ability to travel 30-40% of the time, with expenses covered per Northwell policy
- Healthcare industry experience
- Familiarity with site audits and multi-team coordination
- Knowledge of healthcare IT hardware and network requirements
- PMI or similar project management certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of project management experience in infrastructure or network environments
- Prior experience working in healthcare or hospital settings highly preferred
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment with onsite Thursdays at Melville or New Hyde Park locations
- Existing knowledge of PMI PMBOK practices and project methodology
- Proven track record of managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders
