Job Overview:
The Senior Project Manager
will be responsible for overseeing and executing product innovation and launch projects
from ideation to commercialization. The role involves leading cross-functional teams and ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This position requires expertise in project management methodologies, stakeholder collaboration, risk management, and process improvement. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, experienced in FMCG
What You Need to Bring to the Table/Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field ( MBA preferred).
- 3+ years
of experience in project management, product development, innovation, or product launches.
- FMCG experience
or background in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Strong expertise in project management methodologies( Agile, Waterfall) and tools ( Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, etc.).
- Ability to manage multiple projects
with competing priorities while maintaining a focus on execution and results.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management
- Excellent risk management and problem-solving
What You’ll Be Doing:
Product Innovation & Project Execution
- Manage multiple product innovation and launch projects
through the QUEST process.
- Oversee end-to-end project management
from scoping to execution and post-launch evaluation.
- Ensure seamless execution of complex innovation and renovation projects.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with R&D, marketing, supply chain, finance, and leadership
to align on project goals.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication.
- Facilitate collaboration across teams to address challenges and drive problem resolution.
Resource & Risk Management
- Allocate human and financial resources
effectively to achieve project goals.
- Identify risks and bottlenecks, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure smooth project execution.
- Proactively escalate risks to leadership and recommend solutions.
Process Improvement & Performance Tracking
- Continuously improve project management processes, tools, and methodologies
for efficiency.
- Track key KPIs (time-to-market, budget adherence, post-launch success)
to drive continuous improvement.
Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certification preferred.
