Project Manager – Distribution Modernization 📍  Location:  Houston, TX

We’re seeking a driven  Project Manager  to join our  Distribution Modernization  team within the  Transmission & Distribution Global Practice  in our South-Central Region. 🛠️  What You’ll Do

• Lead distribution engineering projects from concept to completion, including permitting, planning, estimating, procurement, and construction.
• Serve as the primary client contact, building strong relationships and driving repeat business.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and risk while ensuring quality and compliance.
• Prepare proposals, support presentations, and participate in contract negotiations.
• Oversee internal financials, project controls, and change management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior staff.
• Travel to client sites and project locations as needed.

🎓  What You Need to Bring to the Table

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years of progressive experience in Distribution Engineering, including 3+ years in project management.
• Strong understanding of NESC and other industry codes.
• Proven success in managing engineering projects and client relationships.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• PE and/or PMP certification preferred.
• Previous consulting experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
